Biography
Prior to joining the firm, Tamara Chen-See was litigating insurance claims at Becker & Poliakoff. She was also an investigator with the U.S. Department of Labor where she worked on cases involving civil and criminal ERISA violations. She assisted participants of employer-sponsored health and welfare plans in conjunction with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). She was awarded the United States Department of Labor Recovery and Reinvestment Act Award for her contributions to the COBRA Recovery Act.
As a community activist and youth mentor, Tamara was integrally involved in the Urban League of Broward County’s Juvenile Crime Diversion Program and Youth Summit on Juvenile Crime Prevention programs. She served as a mediator between minors and parents to find appropriate resolutions of family matters, and provided legal assistance to parents and caretakers on the Florida guardianship rights of persons with disabled children.
