Biography
Deborah A. Gechijian is an attorney in the firm’s West Palm Beach office. Her practice focuses on first-party property insurance claim disputes and bad faith insurance litigation. Ms. Gechijian gives the utmost attention to every matter and effectively communicates with policyholders so there is a better understanding of the legal process and potential outcomes. She is passionate about protecting her clients’ interests and ensuring they receive the maximum recoveries from the insurance carriers.
Ms. Gechijian is a Florida native, who grew up in Miami, where she witnessed the wrath of Hurricane Andrew in 1992 and its devastation to numerous communities in South Florida. She has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2004, receiving both her undergraduate degree and Juris Doctor from the University of Miami. While attending law school, Ms. Gechijian was Editor-in-Chief of the University of Miami Business Law Review. She began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in Palm Beach County, Florida. Thereafter, she spent many years representing employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in a variety of litigation matters. This extensive experience has enabled her to better represent policyholders and litigate on their behalf. In her free time, Ms. Gechijian enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is also a licensed Florida Realtor.
