Biography
Jonathan Ibarra Paz is an associate attorney with over a decade of legal experience across Immigration, Workers’ Compensation, Criminal Law, Corporate Compliance, Personal Injury, and Wrongful Death.
His legal career began as a legal assistant, progressing through roles as an interpreter, legal clerk, paralegal, and certified clerk. This hands-on experience gives him a well-rounded perspective and deep understanding of the legal system.
Passionate about advocating for underserved communities, Jonathan prioritizes client-centered representation, ensuring every client feels seen, heard, and understood. His approach is rooted in empathy, cultural awareness, and a strong commitment to justice.
He earned his Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2022 and was admitted to the California Bar in 2023. He also holds a B.A. in Justice Studies from San Jose State University and an A.A. in Paralegal Studies from De Anza College.
Jonathan’s academic achievements include the Faculty Merit Scholarship, Dean’s List recognition, the Paul S. Jordan Award for Service and Contribution to the Law School, and the Michael A. Zamperini/W. Clay Burchell Endowed Scholarship.
