Mr. Leal, a graduate of Columbia Law School, has worked as a defense attorney for law firms as large as 800 attorneys and as small as 50 attorneys. As the newest member of Merlin Law Group's Houston office, Mr. Leal’s past career experience gives him unique insight into the mind of a defense attorney.

Sergio Leal is the latest of a group of experienced property insurance attorneys to join Merlin Law Group in the past year. While other law firms have been reducing staff size, Merlin Law Group has expanded with the hiring of attorneys Corey Harris and Nicole Vinson in its Tampa, FL, office, Michelle Claverol and Vivien Persand in its Coral Gables, FL, office, Shaun Marker in its West Palm Beach, FL, office, and now Mr. Leal for its Houston, Texas, office.
