Biography

Ashley Harris is a dedicated policyholder attorney at Merlin Law Group, where she represents individuals, businesses, and communities in complex insurance coverage disputes. With a keen eye for detail, Ashley advocates tirelessly to ensure that clients receive the benefits owed to them under their insurance policies.
Her practice spans a broad spectrum of first-party insurance claims, including property damage, business interruption, and bad faith. Additionally, Ashley handles third-party agent negligence actions. Ashley brings deep experience in litigation strategy, negotiation, and trial preparation, always with the goal of protecting her clients’ rights and restoring their peace of mind after unexpected losses.

Ashley earned her J.D. from the University of Missouri and holds bar admissions in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Colorado and New Jersey. Ashley has consistently been recognized as a leader in insurance law by Best Lawyers and The Wall Street Journal.

Outside the courtroom, Ashley finds her greatest joy in her family. She and her husband, Corey Harris, are the proud parents of two sons who keep life endlessly rewarding and adventurous. When not practicing law or cheering on her boys, Ashley enjoys retreating to the serenity of their second home nestled in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina—a beloved place of reflection, family connection, and inspiration.
